Penangites, there is no more excuse for you not to use the public transportation because the state government is giving you free shuttle services!

In collaboration with RapidPenang, the Congestion Alleviation Transport (CAT) free shuttle service has started operating today.

According to The Sun, a total of 52 buses are scheduled to cover six routes on the island and mainland on a 16km loop every 15 minutes, stopping at places like shopping malls, government hospital, government offices and schools.

We want free shuttle services in KL too.
The shuttle will operate from 5.30am to 11.45pm, covering Jalan Paya Terubong, Jalan Air Itam, Jalan Semarak Api, Bandar Baru Air Itam, Lebuhraya Thean Tek and Jalan Padang Tembak.

So this is a good time to start reducing our carbon footprint on the island!

Psst... RapidKL, can we get more free shuttle services around Klang Valley too?
