When you set your heart to help those in need, any help, no matter how small it is, will do.

That was exactly what Penangite Azizul Rahim took the initiative to do.

Helping those in dire need

All the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) employee did was fill up his car with grocery and food items such as cream crackers, sugar, rice and Milo.

He then parks his car at the Tasek Gelugor Market on the Penang island and hangs up a note that says “For those in need, please take, it’s free” so that those in need could help themselves with the food items.

Doing all he can to help the needy.
“Wherever I go, I make it a habit to distribute food and beverages to the homeless.

“I thought of the idea of creating a car food bank so that I can help more people in need who can stop by and pick-up essentials to get by,” Azizul told Malay Mail.

According to Azizul, some of the items were donated by kind individuals who want to help the needy, especially those who have been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Azizul also told the news portal that he would drive to other locations where he’ll park his car and wait for people in need to approach.

Free for those who need it.
The news portal also reported that this is not the first time Azizul has done a kind deed like this.

In fact, he has been helping those in need for the past 10 years, often dishing out aid to senior citizens, people with chronic illnesses, single mothers and the disabled.

Azizul told Malay Mail that he will continue to aid people via his car food bank initiative, as long as donations for the initiative continue to pour in.

We definitely need more people like Azizul in the world. Thank you, kind sir, for your good deed!
