Penangites, Get Ready To Eat All The Durians In The World For Only RM15 At This Festival

Earlier this month, news of the plummeting price of durian due to the bumper crop of durian which resulted in an overflow of supply sent durian fans crowding durian stalls all over Malaysia. And even up to this day, we can see that everyone is still enjoying durian based on their Instagram feed.

Well, to further satisfy your durian cravings, Penang is organising the annual Penang Durian Festival happening from 28-29 July 2018 at Mydin Mall, Bukit Mertajam from 10am to 10pm.

For only as low as RM15 for adults and RM10 for children, you can eat all the durian you want from a variety of choices such as Musang King, Blackthorn, Kapri, Red Prawn, and many more.

Worried if they’d run out of durian supply? Don’t worry, it is said that there will be over 10 tonnes of durian to cater to all durian lovers.

And if eating there isn’t enough, you can always purchase some of them and share it with your family and friends at home.

According to the Malay Mail, this is the first time the festival will be held on mainland Penang as it was previously traditionally held in Balik Pulau.
