In case you haven't heard, the conditional movement control order (CMCO) has been extended for another two weeks in five states.

That also means that interstate travels are still banned (unless your name rhymes with 'new sofa').

However, the government has given hinted that interstate travels may be allowed for a certain group of people.

An encouragement for Malaysians

On Thursday (1 April), Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin indicated that the government are considering allowing those who have received both doses of vaccination to move freely domestically.

Muhyiddin told The Star Online that this is based on an international research on the vaccine, which indicated that those who have received two doses of vaccine and a certificate could travel anywhere.

Encouraging you to register.
"There were earlier views that those who have been vaccinated may be protected from infection but could be a potential carrier of the virus. But now, it has been found that this is not true," he was quoted as saying.

On top of that, Muhyiddin said that the freedom of movement is a reward for those who who have been vaccinated, and an encouragement for those who have yet to register.

"I have discussed this in the NSC (National Security Council) meeting. We want to decide if this is the case, those who have received two doses can travel across states and districts.

"'Boleh ke sana ke sini' (go anywhere) without being stopped by the authorities," he said, adding that free travel is only for those who have receive both doses.

International travel soon?

Is this motivation enough?
Muhyiddin also indicated that those who have been fully vaccinated and possess a certificate could also travel internationally in the future.

The talks to allow international travels are currently ongoing.

"We have started talks with several countries to allow our citizens who have received two doses with the certificate to travel," he was quoted as saying.

So, if you haven't yet registered (why the hell not?), we hope that this piece of news will encourage you to do so immediately.
