Police: Action Will Be Taken Against Those Found Spreading Fake News On COVID-19 Vaccine
Heard or seen anyone spreading fake news asking people not to take the COVID-19 vaccine?
You can lodge police report against such people.
According to a report by The Star quoting Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Seri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani the police will take action upon receiving reports of people spreading such fake news.

Investigations will be carried out
"The police will open investigation papers if there are reports lodged regarding this issue.
"Cases can be investigated under Section 505 (b) of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998," he said s quoted in the report.
However, he assured that the police have not received reports of such nature yet and has advised people to not make any statements that could confuse the public.
