People staying in Kuala Langat and Sepang, kindly take note.

Air Selangor has announced that there will be a scheduled water cut happening there from 9am on 20 October to 5.30pm the next day.



In a statement, Air Selangor said that the disruption was due to the replacement of valves on distribution pipes at the intersection between Jalan Indah 1 and Jalan B48 in Taman Desa Indah.

The replacement was needed in order to ensure that the water supply distribution system runs smoothly and all related equipment is in optimal condition.

"The time frame for the water disruption will differ from location to location depending on the distance of the user to the source and on the water pressure for the distribution system," added Air Selangor in the statement.

Impacted areas

The affected areas include:

Kuala Langat - Kampung Kundang, Estate Gadong Quarters, Kampung Batu Untung, Tanjung Sepat New Village, Kampung Batu Laut, Taman Batu Untung, Taman Pelangi, Ladang Batu, Taman Tanjung, Taman Tanjung Sepat Indah, Kampung Orang Asli Tanjung Sepat, Taman Mutiara, Ladang Bedford, Kampung Tanjung Sepat Darat, Kampung Tumbuk, Kampung Tanjung Layang, Tanjung Sepat Police Barrack and Taman Kanchong Laut.

Sepang - Kampung Bukit Bangkong, Kampung Hulu Teris, Kampung Ulu Chuchoh, Kampung Orang Asli Bukit Bangkong, Tanjung Rhu, Pekan Sungai Pelek, Kem PKLS Hazliza Ulu Teris, Taman Seri Sungai Pelek dan Kampung Baru Sungai Pelak.
