RapidKL Kicks Off Several Cashless Bus Routes Effective Immediately
RapidKL bus riders who use the Damansara, Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Pahang Corridors routes: don't forget to bring along your cashless travel cards when you board the busses.
That's because the transport company announced on Twitter on Monday that the cashless system will be implemented beginning 13 May for the three routes.
Bermula hari ini, semua bas Rapid KL Koridor Damansara, Jalan Ipoh & Jalan Pahang beroperasi tanpa tunai!Go cashless!#rapidkl pic.twitter.com/z8dJUSHWVG— RapidKL 03-78852585 (@MyRapidKL) May 13, 2019
This only leaves the Federal Highway route still using the cash system, which will also be ending on 27 May, according to the company.
If still do not have a cashless card (how, though?), you can buy and top-up cashless cards at any LRT, MRT, Monorail and BRT customer service counters.
Malaysians can also opt to choose to purchase the My50 or My100 packages, which can be used in any public transportation run by RapidKL.
