If your road tax or driving license has expired, you would need to renew it soon.

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has reminded Malaysians that they have up to 30 September to renew all their expired documents.

The good news is, Pos Malaysia has reopened for business, but there's something you need to take note of first.

No walk-ins are allowed

Pos Malaysia has announced that counter services for licence or roadtax renewals have reopened beginning 9 August, but you would have to make an appointment beforehand.

No walk-ins are allowed.

The decision was made to avoid overcrowding at their outlets, Pos Malaysia said in a statement.

Before dropping by, Malaysians would first need to make an appointment using Pos Malaysia's app or through their official website.

According to Pos Malaysia, a customer is only allowed to make one appointment per day, and they can perform up to three transactions when they are there, so please make sure that you kaotim everything there one shot instead of making numerous trips there in one day.

Alternatively, you could also make your renewals using MYEG or JPJ's own MYSikap portal.

So, before you drop by your nearest Pos Malaysia outlet, remember to make an appointment first, OK?
