It's been six years since the mysterious yet heart-breaking disappearance of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) flight MH370, and the case is no where near getting solved yet.
While most of us have moved on, the next-of-kin of those onboard the ill-fated flight is still holding on to the hope that the plane would soon be found.

A new search

A new search is going to be launched.
According to a report by Malay Mail, quoting The Sydney Morning Herald, a new search for MH370 will be launched sometime this year.
The call for a new search came about after the possible discovery of new debris, which researchers hope will narrow the scope of the investigation.
On top of that, the report also said that the closed-door negotiations between the next-of-kin of the passengers and the Malaysian government are "progressing".
However, there's no mention of when the new search will kick-off.
Previously, a total of 26 countries took part in the search of the southern Indian Ocean.
A total of 26 countries took part in the initial searches.
In January, an appeals court in the United States upheld the decision made by a lower court to dismiss transnational litigation over the disappearance of the passenger plane.
The next-of-kin had reportedly been seeking to hold MAS, Boeing Co and insuring company Allianz SE liable for the incident.
