Even though you've been staying at a place for a very long time, sometimes there are still things that will excite you.

For one man, that one thing was the sighting of a pod of dolphins.

An unbelievable sight

A couple of videos taken by Mohd Faisal Safuan Saridan, a resort manager based in Pulau Tioman, have gone viral on social media - and for good reason.

On a recent boat trip with his wife and two resort crew members, Mohd Faisal was greeted by a playful pod of dolphins swimming beside his boat.

According to Bernama, they were travelling Kampung Tekek to Kampung Juara when the dolphins came up to say hi.

Just like in National Geographic.
Mohd Faisal told the news agency that he spotted a pod of dolphins from afar, and he immediately tried to approach them.

However, he got a shock when he got close enough to see the dolphins.

“I did not expect there were so many of them, around 20.

“The pod was undisturbed by our presence, and instead continued playing under the boat and also followed the boat for more than five minutes before swimming away,” he was quoted as saying.

Of course, Mohd Faisal wasted no time whipping out his phone to capture videos of the rare sight.

He later posted the videos on the Juara Mutiara Resort Facebook page, and they instantly went viral.

The clips have been viewed over 10,000 times, and netizens were equally in awe of the dolphins, with some claiming that they didn't know dolphins would make an appearance at Pulau Tioman.

Mohd Faisal told Bernama that even though he is a native of Pulau Tioman, he only spotted dolphins in the island four times in his entire life.

We guess that day was his lucky day, and we're so jealous!
