“RM97K in just 30 minutes?!” - M'sian Baffled Over KL Nightclub Bill
What's the most money you've ever spent on a single night out?
Well, for one individual, they may have just broken a record after racking up a bill at a local nightclub in KL that’s enough to buy a brand-new car.
In a post that has since gone viral, a photo shows a bill issued by a KTV nightclub with a jaw-dropping total of RM97,760.65.
According to the receipt, the most expensive item was three bottles of Louis XIII cognac, which cost a whopping RM78,888.00.
Additionally, tips for the staff and PRMs (Public Relations Members) were also included, totaling RM600. But what really caught the public’s attention were the 8% SST charges and service fees, which added up to nearly RM15,000!
What’s even more shocking is that the staggering amount was allegedly spent in just 30 minutes.

Needless to say, the bill sparked a wave of reactions online, especially considering the short time spent there.
“Such casual spending… Meanwhile, it takes me years just to save RM1K a month.”
One user commented, “Not only do you have to pay tips, but also service charges that come up to almost RM8K. The KTV owner must be making a fortune. And with expensive liquor on top of that, the RM6K SST doesn’t even feel like much when your customer is super rich.”
“If I were filthy rich, I still wouldn’t spend money like this. I’d rather invest in a personal karaoke system so I can get drunk and sleep at home,” another commented.
