Love spending your Friday nights eating your favourite meals in Chili’s?

If you're a frequent customer at the restaurant’s popular branch in Bangsar, we have some sad news for you.

Chili’s Malaysia has decided to close the out, beginning April this year.

The Bangsar restaurant, which is Chili's flagship outlet has been in operation for almost 30 years now.

“We are sadly saying goodbye to our very first flagship store. Drop by for one last time before March 31 to say goodbye as we will be permanently closing Chili’s Bangsar Shopping Centre outlet soon,” said Chili’s Malaysia in a Facebook post.

Regulars were saddened by the news with many taking to social media to recall their fondest memories at the Bangsar outlet.

“Ohh wow. Gosh this was our ‘Bangsar kids’ hangout as teens in the 1990s. Lots of memories, great fun!” said Sophia Khan.

“My dad used to bring us here when we were kids, when he was able to give us fancy meals those days. There were so much memories in this place for me and my family. Sad to see this restaurant go away,” said Sarvindheran Chelvarajah.

“Oh no! This was such a treat growing up. Such good memories of getting to draw on the kids menu with crayons and then getting the best chicken fingers/tenders with honey mustard for dinner followed by THE BEST DESSERT I've ever had: warm brownie with chocolate sauce, ice cream and a cherry on top,” said Dhayana Sena.

"This is our favourite family hangout with kids, and they love it here.. Our favourite Chili’s restaurant also. So sad." commented Preetha Sreekumar.

"So so many memories made here. From hanging out with school friends and then college friends and then friends for life. Makan makan with family...birthdays...even with people who are now gone forever...soooo sadddd ," said Kareena Chhokra.

So many people seem to have happy memories at this outlet.
