The opportunity came when Nuar was invited to be part of a conference in Orenburg, Russia.
When they agreed to do so, the couple only had a week to plan for the wedding before their trip.
Segalanya berubah kat sini. Time ni wife aku dah 2 minggu kat Russia. Aku tak expect pun akan ke Russia time keadaan skrg ni. Bila dapat offer ni aku tak fikir panjang terus accept offer ni. Aku fikir bila lagi nak ke Russia. In future aku tak sure apa jadi dekat sana. pic.twitter.com/FlJVSZlmbY

Nuar admits that it was the right thing to do in light of the political uncertainties surrounding Russia - and he even met his father-in-law for the first time!
Aku pelik gak orang sana buat kerja2 pakai jacket ala ala army. Aku cakap la jacket lawa. Then kita tukar jacket. Next day parents mertua aku beli kan one full set baju army haha pic.twitter.com/aOcJvRac1h
