Love is in the air lately as most of us have been attending weddings after weddings in the past couple of months. But a man from Selangor managed to skip the mini papadoms and sirap ais traditions by marrying the woman of his dreams in her hometown - Russia.

Twitter user by the name of Nuar Yusli posted a long thread about his wedding adventure. According to Nuar, his wife hasn’t returned to Russia for over 3 years due to the pandemic.
The opportunity came when Nuar was invited to be part of a conference in Orenburg, Russia.
When they agreed to do so, the couple only had a week to plan for the wedding before their trip.
Nuar admits that it was the right thing to do in light of the political uncertainties surrounding Russia - and he even met his father-in-law for the first time!
Nuar represented Malaysia at the Eurasia Global Conference, sharing his experience and knowledge with 500 young leaders and entrepreneurs like him from 40 other countries.
Congratulations Nuar on the wedding and the conference!
