One student decided to embody this phrase during her school's cross-country run by giving a friend a piggyback ride as they completed the run together. However, the actual reason behind this interaction is quite hilarious.
In a TikTok video shared by the mother of the student known as Nazatul, her daughter Eiliya has a close bond with a classmate named Maya. But during the school's cross-country run, Nazatul was shocked to see the lengths Eiliya would go to keep Maya close to her.
During the run, Eiliya was caught on camera casually giving Maya a piggyback ride as she continued the run.
Now, if you think Eiliya gave her friend a piggyback ride because Maya was injured or tired, you were wrong, as the real reason was more innocent and hilarious.
In the comments section, Nazatul shared that Eiliya decided to carry Maya because she refused to let Maya run ahead and leave her behind.

The hilarious interaction garnered much attention on social media, and one of them was Maya's mother. She expressed her amusement in the comments section while thanking Eiliya, who diligently carried her daughter throughout the run.
"Thank you Eiliya for carrying Maya. She refused to let Maya leave her so she decided to carry her friend. Now that's the real show of sticking with each other through thick and thin," she said.
Meanwhile, the interaction between the two friends had also amused other TikTok users.
