Waiting for your luggage at the baggage carousel is not really a fun thing to do.

But for these lucky passengers, they received the best surprise ever!

Special surprise for Christmas

Rows and rows of present.
Free Malaysia Today reported that travelers who were waiting to collect their luggage at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) recently received a sweet surprise.

Yes, the passengers, who boarded flight MH2613 from Kota Kinabalu and MH1 from London, found presents with their names on it on the baggage carousel as they landed in Kuala Lumpur four days before Christmas.

Oh, and we're talking about real cool presents, not gift cards or shopping vouchers!

LEGO sets for the lucky passenger. Those who got a handbag was even luckier.
Even the little ones got a present.
Inside the beautifully wrapped presents were LEGO sets, Michael Kors handbags and beauty sets from Biotherm, Estee Lauder and Nars, among others.

According to the report, the gifts were part of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB)'s “Let’s Go Christmas” campaign.

The campaign was run in partnership with brands such as Malaysia Airlines, LEGO Malaysia, Valiram, Dimensi Ekslusif and Colours & Fragrances.

Quoting MAHB CEO Raja Azmi Nazuddin, the report said the company wanted to add “a little extra something” to welcome passengers coming home for Christmas.

“Malaysia is going to welcome many visitors for Visit Malaysia 2020 and we are ready to give each and every one of them a fantastic first impression at the airport,” he was quoted as saying.

Ugh, we are extremely jealous of the passengers right now. The only thing we got waiting for us when we got home from a holiday in Japan was a hefty credit card bill.
