Last month, ex-Prasarana chairman Tajuddin Abdul Rahman became public enemy number one due to the manner he handled the Rapid LRT crash.

And it looks like he's finally had enough.

'I have been humiliated'

The Pasir Salak MP told Malaysiakini that he's planning to take legal action against those who have "tarnished his reputation".

After coming under heavy fire, the subsequent backlash resulted in Tajuddin being removed as the chairman of Prasarana Malaysia Berhad shortly after.

Tajuddin felt that it the insults hurled at him have tarnished his image.

His feelings were hurt.
"I have been humiliated all over Malaysia as an unqualified, insensitive, racist figure, who does not follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to the extent that some were willing to petition for my resignation.

"Everything is a hit (against me) and some have even taken advantage by reporting to the police," he was quoted as saying.

He felt that the whole situation has been unfair for him, and he will identify who is behind the whole ruckus and take appropriate action.

On 24 May, two Rapid KL trains collided into each other, which resulted in 47 people sustaining serious injuries while 166 others suffered minor injuries.

Tajuddin came under flak for not being at the scene of the incident on the night itself, and his behaviour at the press conference rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

Not long after being removed from his role, he was reportedly detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Looks like it's going to be a very busy few months for Tajuddin.
