Everyone, brace yourselves because it seems like another water cut is happening in Klang Valley.

There will be a major water disruption for two to four days beginning 23 July which will affect more than three million consumers in seven areas in the Klang Valley.

According to a report in New Straits Times, the affected areas are Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Gombak, Hulu Selangor, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, and Kuala Lumpur.

Here's to less showers, guys.
The disruption is reportedly due to upgrading works at the Sungai Selangor Water Treatment (WTP) Plant Phase 1 to improve water supply to Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.

“The WTP will be shut down to facilitate the improvement works. The duration of disruption and supply recovery will differ from area to area, depending on their geography and altitude,” said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) as quoted in the report.
