The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 makes people do crazy things, so much so that a group of robbers decide to hijack a delivery truck in Compenhagen.

According to an article on lifestyle site HYPEBEAST, the incident reportedly happened when the delivery truck stopped at the Rezet Store - one of the most renowned sneaker shops in Denmark - to drop off the goods on Thursday.

While they were unloading the sneakers, the robbers allegedly jumped into the truck and drove away.

The exact amount of loot the robbers managed to get away with is still unclear, but according to the website, at least four containers (!) of Yeezys were stolen.

According to High Snobiety, the police are currently tracking down the robbers.

The robbery couldn't have come at a worse time as sneaker stores around the world are preparing for the madness that comes with the sneaker launch on 29 April.

However, Rezet Store took to their official Instagram account later in the day to assure fans that they have enough in stock to keep the raffle going:

As you may already know, yesterday we got robbed straight from the delivery truck. 4 boxes of the Yeezy 350 V2 Cream were stolen, and we are doing all we can, together with the local authorities, to find the sinners. But fear not! They only stole a fraction of our stash, and we still have all sizes available for our raffle. Thanks a million for all the help and support #rezetstore

The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Cream White' is arguably one of the most highly anticipated sneaker releases this year.

In fact, when Adidas Malaysia launched the ballot system on Wednesday, sneakerheads snapped up the ballot slots faster than you can say 'KANYE'.
