Things IShowSpeed Did During His Chaotic Visit to Malaysia: Trying Super Ring, Riding a Kapchai, & Eating Ramly Burger
YouTuber IShowSpeed, known as simply Speed, who boasts 30.1 million subscribers is known for his high-energy gaming streams, comedic content, and viral antics. He recently visited Malaysia as part of his Southeast Asia tour and he was mobbed by throngs of enthusiastic fans wherever he went.
He has been surrounded by crowds in every country he goes to such as the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia. But he said, “In terms of craziness, out of the whole tour, this might be number one,” and his bodyguards struggled to fend off the crowd.
Here are some of the things Speed did in Malaysia:
Sampled Nasi Lemak
Naturally, no foreigner’s visit to Malaysia is complete without sampling some nasi lemak. A fan handed nasi lemak to Speed in a box saying, “It’s not that spicy.” However, Speed struggled to handle the spice and rushed to get some water. He said it was “As good as sh*t, though.”

Trying Uncle Roger’s Fried Rice
As you might know, internet personality Uncle Roger recently opened up his restaurant at Pavilion KL. Speed headed to the store to try some of his famous fried rice but things got so intense that they had to close the shutters. Decorations at the restaurant even got damaged due to the unruly crowd:

Here is a video of the crowd calling his name and pushing to get a glimpse of him. Speed was seen struggling and looking distressed:

However, Speed finally managed to sample the fried rice and rated it a 9/10. The 18-year-old was so excited about eating it that he even did backflips.

Tried durian
For foreigners, trying the King of Fruits is usually an interesting first-time experience. Speed also tried a piece of durian and gave it a thumbs-up before proceeding to choke on it.
One X user commented, “See white people, it's not that hard to be polite, pretend you enjoyed the durian and act like you almost swallowed the seed so you don't have to finish the rest. Big up speed for showing respect to the King of Fruits.”

Ate a Ramly burger
Speed’s home country might have In-N-Out Burger, but here we have Ramly Burgers, a proudly Malaysian brand. Speed tried the Malaysian street food and said, “Why is everything good here? Every food is good.” The crowd cheered him on as he tried his first Ramly Burger.

Tried riding a kapchai
Speed had a taste of being a local Mat Rempit by riding on a kapchai, or a motorcycle. He was seen moving only a few meters before shouting, “Oh shit, oh shit” because he nearly fell off. He then proceeded to get off the bike and start barking like a dog before saying, “I did it.”

Helped a fan who had a panic attack
A girl who was on her way to get food was swallowed up by the crowd and started having a panic attack. The poor girl’s hands were shaking and she seemed to be hyperventilating. Speed and his bodyguard kindly helped her and got her some water.
