If you happen to be in Tokyo and you're looking to spend a wonderful time at the happiest place on Earth, we have some bad news for you.

Disneyland and DisneySea will be closing down beginning 29 February.

Refunds will be provided

Oh no, say it isn’t so!According to a report by CNN, the theme parks will stay closed till 15 March.

The operator of the theme parks, Oriental Lands, said in a press statement that the decision was made due to the escalation of the novel coronavirus outbreak in the country.

The decision also came after the Japanese government requested for big gatherings or events to be cancelled or postponed to prevent the spread of the virus.

So far, more than 800 people have been infected, with eight deaths.

Even DisneySEA has to close.
The theme park said they will provide refunds for guests who've already bought tickets, and as of now, Disneyland and DisneySea Tokyo are rescheduled to be reopened on 16 March.

It's better to be safe than sorry, right, guys?
