Top Glove Cluster Records 1,067 New Cases, Factories In Klang Ordered To Close

Recently, the Health Ministry revealed that there is a high surge of COVID-19 cases from the Teratai Cluster involving Top Glove employees.
On Sunday (22 November), 504 cases were reported from the cluster, making it the highest number of cases recorded in Selangor to date.
The cluster was first detected on 5 November after 17 employees of Top Glove were tested positive for COVID-19.

Just when we thought things were getting bad, it seems that the number of cases reported have doubled in just 24 hours.
According to Berita Harian, a total of 1,067 cases were reported and the factories have been ordered to be shut.
Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says that 28 factories will be closed in stages to facilitate mass testings following the surge of COVID-19 cases.
“The Health Ministry has tested 5,794 employees so far and out of the total, 1,889 were positive,” Ismail Sabri said.
We hope their employees will still be paid during the period of closure.
The total number of cases in our country have also reached an all-time high of 1,884 cases with 1,203 cases orignating in Selangor.
