Two Malaysian Students Receive Top Honours In International Cambridge Awards
The future is bright for these Malaysian students.
Two Malaysian students have made the country proud by achieving top honours in the internationally-recognised Outstanding Cambridge Learners Awards.
Best in the country
Teng Yee Shean and Hassan Azhar from Beaconhouse Sri Inai International have been declared Top in Malaysia by the Cambridge Assessment International Education for Geography and Business Studies respectively.
Wow!
According to a report by Free Malaysia Today, the awards were given to the duo for getting the highest marks in the country for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations held in November 2019.
“This is an amazing honour! Business has always been my passion even though I am still only a student.”
“To be named the very best in the country is such a great feeling and really motivates me to continue working my hardest to achieve great things in the future,” Teng was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, Hassan told the news portal that he never thought he would like Geography, but he is thankful that his efforts and hard work have paid off.

Notably, this is not the first time the school has produced Outstanding Cambridge Learners Awards recipients.
Last year, Andrew Nge Jing won the Top in the World award for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics while in 2018, Bryan Chow Wei Ming won the same award for Mathematics while Sneha Sherchan was named Top in Malaysia for Global Perspectives.
Congratulations, you guys!
