Two convicted murderers in Sweden took two prison guards as hostages.

By now, you’d probably think that the criminals would demand to be freed.

But no; they demanded for pizzas instead, of all the things in the world!

And not even from authenthic Italian restaurant, but a kebab shop in town.

No helicopter? Pizza also can lah

According to a report in Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet, the prisoners broke into the Hallby Prison’s guard room armed with razor blades and locked themselves with the victims in the room.

The report also quoted Insider as saying the duo initially demanded a helicopter.

However, after a change of mind, they settled for 20 pizzas for themselves and other inmates. So sweet of them to think of their friends, don't you think?

The pizzas were delivered to the inmates at 4.30pm and they released the prison guards almost nine hours after the first hostage situation started.

The two prisoners were then taken to the Eskilstuna police station.

We sure hope the pizzas were worth whatever punishment they will be facing for their latest crimes.
