Don’t we all love the occasional UFO sighting from time to time? Besides the one seen in Kuala Krai, Kelantan last September, we rarely get these alien rumours here in Malaysia. So most of the time we just end up reeling on the excitement of sightings from other countries.


However, a video had gone viral on Facebook yesterday allegedly showing UFOs flying above Komtar in George Town, right here on our Malaysian shores!

In the video shared by Wang Soon You with the caption ‘A UFO appeared in Penang skies, do you believe me?’, two white objects can be spotted floating above the famous Penang landmark. This unusual sighting gathered a group of people crowding around out of curiosity.
At the time of writing, the video has been shared more than 6,000 times and collected over 200 comments on Facebook. However, most people shot it down by saying that the object was most likely a drone or flying camera. Others who were most optimistic and hopeful thought that the object was too big to be a drone.
