UK NGO Aims To Train Dogs To Sniff Out COVID-19 In Patients
With the COVID-19 outbreak spreading rapidly, more and more methods are being researched to identify and possibly cure it.
One method being looked as is to train special sniffer dogs to detect the disease in patients.

Each disease has a unique scent
The NGO says that each disease has its own unique odour that can be picked up by dogs.
Previously, the NGO successfully trained dogs to detect cancers, Parkinson’s disease, malaria and bacterial infections.
It’s co-founder, Claire Guest, said the training aims to help spot asymptomatic patients in a “fast, effective and non-invasive” way.
She said that if dogs can be used, it would help preserve the testing resources that the National Health Service in the UK has.
Let’s hope this works!
