A UK School Just Passed A Weird Law: Parents Can't Be In Their Pyjamas When Dropping Their Kids Off
How many of you send your kids to school but don’t change out of your night clothes to do so?
While it is not really an offence to send your kids to school while wearing pyjamas, some may think it is inappropriate.
A school in the United Kingdom has banned parents from wearing casual pyjamas when dropping their children off.
The Headteacher of Ayersome Primary School Charlotte, in a Facebook post, told parents it is 'inappropriate' to wear nightwear, pyjamas, slippers, and dressing gowns at the school gate.
Lead by example
“As a school, we encourage our children to be appropriately dressed at all times and we feel it is important for parents to do likewise,” Haylock wrote, as reported by Times Now News.
The announcement received negative comments from many parents, who took to social media to express their views.
Many think that as long as kids go to school, nothing else matters.
"If people wanna wear the pjs to take their kids then they can, as long the kids getting to school that's what counts," said the parent.
The school management is fully supporting the headteacher in this matter despite the negative comments.
