Malaysia's badminton duo, Tan Wee Kiong and Goh V Shem, adds a new feat into their book as they smashed their way to their first Super Series Men's Doubles final at the Denmark Open.

During the semifinal event held at the Odense Sports Park yesterday, the Olympic silver medallists defeated Denmark's Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen 20-22, 21-15, 21-11 within 57 minutes.

Today, the pair will face Thailand's Bodin Isara and Nipitphon Phuangphuapet in the final event.

Wee Kion and V Shem are the only Malaysians left in the game following Datuk Lee Chong Wei's surprising defeat to Frenchman Brice Leverdez in the quarterfinals during a 77-minute match. The world number one was disappointed at his loss and has since vowed to treat the hamstring injury on his right leg and return to a better form in time for the upcoming French Open.
