Imagine meeting your loved one after a year of separation.

The wonderful moment was recently experienced by a loving Malaysian family.

According to a report by Malay Mail, a Malaysian husband surprised his wife and kids by returning home unexpectedly after being stuck in Singapore for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The surprise reunion was captured by the man’s sister-in-law under the ID “Asmhabd” on her TikTok page.

She said the man was stuck in the neighbouring country as he needed to save up money to come home to his wife and kids.

The family only communicated through phone and video calls the entire time, and the father’s homecoming took them by surprise.
