The river taxi has the capacity of carrying 10 people at one time.
It will take them on a cruise along a 15-kilometre stretch of the river from Pangkalan Batu Urban Park to Mangrove Point.

The objective of the river taxi is to improve mobility and access to improve economic and social services for people living in rural areas there.
“With the two new jetties (at Pangkalan Batu Urban Park and Mangrove Point), it will create a new business ecosystem in Klang,” said Landasan Lumayan’s head of strategic planning and investment Muhamad Fadhli Mansor in a video interview on IBR Asia Group TV’s YouTube channel.
He added that there’s a possibility of turning the water taxis into a mode of transportation as previously done in 1900s.
Sounds like fun to us! We hope that the project is launched without any hiccups.
