Want To Experience ‘Winter’ Weather In Malaysia? Head To Kedah And Perlis!
Are you green with envy checking out your friends’ holiday pictures at cold, European countries on Instagram?
Well, don't be jealous, because now you can experience ‘winter’ too - without taking a long-haul flight or travelling thousands of miles.
The Kedah Meteorological Department has forecasted that temperatures in northern Kedah and Perlis will continue to hover between 22.6 to 23 degrees Celsius for the next few days – which is 10 degrees lower than the average temperature we have here in Malaysia!
However, it is unlikely that the temperatures will drop below 20 degrees, which happens to be the lowest temperature ever recorded there back in 2014.

Well, it’s not a surprise that the Northern region of Peninsular Malaysia is experiencing colder weather as there have been reports that Thailand is also experiencing cool climate with temperatures expected to drop as low as 14 degrees.
"The cool climate is likely to remain for the next couple of days and we forecast that the weather will return to the normal dry weather by then," Rosli added.
Well, if you don’t know what to do to clear up your annual leave, it’s time to make a road trip to Kedah and Perlis!
