Want To Livestream On Facebook? There Are New Rules You Need To Follow
Facebook has introduced a new set of rules for its Livestream feature, CNN reported.
The change in the rules came following the mass shooting at a mosque in New Zealand that was live-streamed on the platform two months ago.
Among the rules include banning the accounts of those who break Facebook's "most serious policies" a set period of time. Here's the full set of rules if you want to go through them.
In a statement, Facebook said it will also extend the new restrictions to other areas of the platform in coming weeks, including to advertisers.

The new rules were also announced after White House decided to pull out of a non-binding agreement called the Christchurch Call, which is spearheaded by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Both premiers are calling for tech companies and countries around the world to work together to do more to limit the spread of extremist content online.
