Well, it's an actual new role by Foodpanda Singapore!
Mashable SEA reported that the job advert on LinkedIn detailed that the duties of the officer include uncovering hidden gems and looking for stories of interesting food establishments.

Unfortunately, it's not a permanent position, and they're only looking for applicants from Singapore or those with permanent resident status there.

The successful applicant will be contracted to Foodpanda Singapore for three months starting January next year.
The lucky person will also be paid SGD1,000 (RM 3,045), with an allowance of SGD5,000 (RM15,227) for the three months.
Hopefully, the Malaysian office opens up a similar position soon!
We have a feeling that we Malaysians, being awesome eaters of food, will ace the role.
