Although our authorities are working hard to combat the wrongdoings in the country, somehow, people seem to not be afraid to commit crime.

However, once in a while, the good guys win.

According to a report by Bernama, the Immigration Department busted the largest online scam syndicate in the country last Wednesday (20 November).

The online scam is believed to be run by Chinese nationals, the news agency reported.

The Immigration Department made the announcement of the bust on its Facebook page:

Running like little cockroaches

According to the Facebook post, the Immigration Department detained close to 1,000 people in the raid.

Several videos showing the workers running away from enforcement officers were uploaded onto the Cyberjaya Info Facebook page:

In fact, there were a couple of videos showing the illegal workers going to the extreme to avoid being captured, including jumping out of a window:

But hey, like they say, you can run but you can't hide. Let's hope these illegal workers get busted soon.
