Would You Stop By The Roadside To Check On Accident Victims? The Agong Just Did
When you get into an accident, the last thing you want is to have people crowding around you and staring at your misfortune.
But if the bystander is the King of Malaysia himself, that's a different story!
This morning (26 June), there was a motorist who got caught in an accident in Putrajaya.
And out of any random person who could have stopped to help, it was the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
According to Istana Negara, His Majesty was on his way to Istana Melawati for a pre-cabinet meeting with the Prime Minister.
On his journey, he stumbled upon the accident and decided to stop the car, get down and offer help to the victim.
You can see more photos of His Majesty checking on the driver with his bodyguards by his side on Instana Negara's Instagram post below:
Thankfully, the driver Jasliza Jamil escaped with only minor injuries.
This happened only days after Sultan Abdullah was seen waiting in line at a KFC outlet in Temerloh, Pahang, like any regular person.
We always appreciate a humble leader!
