'You Forgot These': National Park In Thailand Mails Back Trash To Litterbug Tourists

It seems like littering is a problem everywhere in the world.

But one national park in Thailand has come up with the perfect solution to teach litterbugs a lesson.

'You forgot these things'

Your trash will come with a lovely note.
According to  a report by The Independent, the Khao Yai National Park Thailand has been dealing with litterbugs leaving behind bottles, cans and food packaging, without a care for the wildlife living in it.

In a bid to stop tourists from leaving their trash everywhere, they warned tourists that if they litter inside the park, they can expect their rubbish in the mail.

We know what you're thinking; how will the park know what trash belongs to who?

You see, visitors to the park will first need to register their home address before they are allowed to enter.

If the park finds out that they have littered, the rubbish will be collected and then mailed back to their home address.

To show people that they are dead serious about this, Thailand’s environment minister Varawut Silpa-archa recently shared pictures of packaged thrash, ready to be sent out, on his Facebook page.

The package will be sent out along with a note that says: ‘You forgot these things.’

That would rub some salt into the wound!

Perhaps we should do this in Malaysia too, as we have a lot of litterbugs here.
