Your Twitter Timeline Is Finally In Reverse-Chronological Order Again

For the longest time, Twitter users have been complaining about seeing a summary tweets they might have missed or tweets "liked" by people they don't follow appear on their timeline.
Unlike Facebook which allows you to toggle between seeing 'Top Stories' or 'Recent Posts' whenever you like, Twitter never had this option.
Until now.
After years of receiving tonnes of complaints and requests to bring back the good old chronological order of tweets, Twitter has finally answered our prayers.
If you go to your Twitter settings now under 'Content', you'll notice a timeline setting that lets you choose whether or not to 'Show the best Tweets first'.
Turn this option on, and you'll see the usual roundup of tweets that Twitter thinks is relevant to you (e.g. 'In case you missed it'). Turn it off, and your timeline will be back in the original reverse-chronological order.

Following this announcement, Twitter also said that we can look forward to an easier way to switch between the two options in the near future.

Now, if only Instagram would take some notes too.
