The textbook, believed to be for Grade 9 students, includes a full biography of the renowned singer titled: “Siti Nurhaliza: The Golden Voice and Heart of Asia.”
The biography describes Siti Nurhaliza as one of the greatest singers in Asia. It also details the awards and achievements she has received, including the time she earned the title “Voice of Asia” after winning the Grand Prix Champion at the Voice of Asia Singing Contest in Kazakhstan in 2002. Fun fact: Siti Nurhaliza was only 23 years old when she won the title!
After the post was shared by another media outlet, Malaysians expressed how proud they are of Siti’s recognition. Some even joked that the Philippines take singing so seriously, they included Siti Nurhaliza in their school syllabus.
