Eight Durian Buffets In Klang Valley You Should Visit For An Epic Makan-Makan Fest

Iylia Adreena 25/05/2017 | 09:27 MYT
What’s every Malaysian’s wildest dream? To eat the pungent, yellow fleshed, thorny fruit that we’ve grown to love - the durian - every day of the year, 24/7.
It wouldn’t have earned the title ‘King of Fruits’ if a majority of the Malaysian population didn’t have a weird obsession about this fruit (and of course, because of its notorious taste and smell).
It comes in many shapes and sizes and has a of variety flavours. The name of the durians are also very localised – we’ve got udang merah, musang king, and mao shan wang just to name a few.
So, where does one actually satisfy their cravings for this sinfully sweet and smelly fruit? Well, we’ve listed out a few durian havens you can find in the Klang Valley that you can visit and eat your heart out. You can also bring your friends, your family and your whole office for a durian burp fiesta!
Disclaimer: We are not responsible for the after effects of eating too much durian, such as feeling drowsy, bloated, heaty, having gassy stomach, etc.

Located opposite of Petronas USJ14 and nearby Sekolah Wawasan, this stall offers a wide variety of durians and as a bonus, great service by its staff. They claim to have over 20 years of experience in this thorny business (see what we did there), so you know you’ll be getting the real deal here.
