Big Stage 2019: Sheryl Shazwanie Eliminated, Here’s The Full List Of The Contestants’ Scores For Week 2’s Concert

12 contestants from Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, and Brunei battled it out on Big Stage 2.

Sheryl Shazwanie was the first contestant to be eliminated and 11 others will move forward to week three performing songs with the theme ‘Glocal Hits’.

Datuk Syafinaz Selamat was invited this week as the guest judge alongside two permanent judges, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza and Judika.

The following are the marks given for each contestant according to the scoring mechanics and the comments given by the juries:

Han-Byul - Vroom Vroom 89.33%

"You look very comfortable and professional on stage. You did your best, your Bahasa Melayu diction is very good,” - Datuk Syafinaz Selamat.

Dinda Permata - Temberang 82.67%

"A fun performance. I applaud your advantage of having the perfect pitch. You have a good voice tone. Good job, keep working harder and don’t be too comfortable," - Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

Santesh - Balqis 80.33%

"You’ve given a great performance tonight. It’s very entertaining to watch you perform the song in an interesting way. That’s the true essence of an entertainer. I myself have never thought of arranging that song in that way," - Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

Neeta - Say My Name 79.00%

"I like your performance because this is not an easy song to sing. From start to finish, it was really good," - Judika.

Adzrin - Kau Pun Sama 73.33%

"At the beginning, I enjoyed your performance because of your vocals. However, as it progressed your energy started to deplete and your vocal needs to be more controlled," - Judika.

Fieya Julia - Jahat 70.67%

"Tonight, you looked really uncomfortable with the shoes you’re wearing, and your stage movements were awkward. They way you’re holding the microphone also doesn’t not sync with your mouth’s movements. An upbeat song just really isn’t for you. Find one part of the song and try to change it and sing it differently than the original singer,” - Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

Irfan Haris - Uptown Funk 70.33%

"This is not an easy song but it showed a different side of you. It was a little bit awkward and seemed out of place but you tried your best. I hope you’ll improve your weaknesses," - Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza.

Kucaimars - Aku Penghibur 69.00%

"This week’s performance was different than last week, we can see you tried something different from the original singer. However, you need to work on your vocals. Overall, your performance was okay," - Judika.

Syada Amzah - Rockabye 68.33%

"You have a good voice but some of your pronunciations weren’t clear and you forgot some lyrics. The most important thing is actually knowing how to control the performance when you’ve forgotten your lyrics. At the start, your singing was good but as it went on it wasn’t so good," - Datuk Syafinaz Selamat.

Sheryl Shazwanie - Drama 63.67% (Eliminated)

"You didn’t understand the lyrics before performing. You’re not supposed to smile because the song is about a guy who’s a womaniser," - Datuk Syafinaz Selamat

Aziz Harun - Seberapa Pentas 61.83%

"When I saw you bringing a guitar on stage, I hoped for a good performance from you. Your breathing technique was all over the place and overall, it wasn’t a great vocal performance," - Judika.

Chaleeda Gilbert - Havana 59.00%

"The stage set up was beautiful and it helped your performance tonight. Take tonight’s comments as a challenge for you," - Datuk Syafinaz Selamat.

Sheryl Shazwanie, Aziz Harun, and Chaleeda Gilbert were in the bottom three but Sheryl was ultimately eliminated after receiving the lowest score.
