“When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.” That’s the saying and it fits former Australian Supercar driver Renee Gracie better than her racing overalls ever did as she ditches racing for racy with a move into the adult film industry following financial struggles in motorsports.

Even being the first fulltime female Supercar driver in Australia in 14 years couldn’t help her prolong her career in motorsports and that prompted a switch in careers. Gracie was one half of the first all-female pair to participate in the iconic Bathurst 100 Supercar race since 1998; partnering Simona de Silvestro in 2015 for the Mount Panorama thriller.

However, even with continuous progress in racing, Gracie failed to secure the financial backing necessary to keep the racing career fueled.

Following her departure from racing, Gracie switched to a local car yard before realising the adult industry would keep her bank account fueled better than any other industry would. The former racer revealed that money was in short supply which convinced her to sign up for an adult website that shares racy videos and pictures.

In her first week alone, baring her twin turbos saw her pocket AUD3,000 and capture over 7,000 subscribers. Since the switch, she’s convinced the move has placed her in a better financial position than she’s ever been. As it goes, she’s earning around AUD2,500 a week on average now.

“It’s been the best thing I’ve done in my whole life. It’s put me in a financial position I could never have dreamt of and I really enjoy it. I’m fine with whatever they want to call me. I’m earning good money and I’m comfortable with where I’m at,” divulged Gracie to News Corp Australia.

“I wasn’t getting the results and couldn’t get the funding. I tried to do my best but it got to a point where my dream vanished,” she reminisced about her time behind the wheel (pun obviously intended). Here’s her Instagram… you’re welcome.
