Vanity plates are rampant among Malaysian motorists. While the illegal fonts and miniscule sizing might help those drivers compensate for a lack of girth elsewhere, the genuinely cool vanity plates are the ones with a hidden meaning from the seemingly random alphanumerics.

Among all the number plate series’ though, this has got to be the tastiest one yet as it is finger licking good. The Kedah road transport department has just announced that the KFC plate series will be open for tenders on 13 February 2021 and close on 17 February 2021.

Bear in mind that tender here refers to placing a bid for a KFC number plate of your choice and not how many chicken tenders you want on your snack plate combo.

If you’re a diehard KFC fan with cheesy wedges running through your veins, you’ll have to place a bid for the KFC late series via the JPJeBid online vehicle number plate bidding system. Successful bids will be announced on 18 February 2021.

The plate series combination will fall into one of four categories that also determines the minimum bid for it.

- regular/running numbers start at RM300
- double-digit/selected triple-digit starts at RM800
- matching digits starts at RM3,000
- single-digit starts at RM20,000

Now go ahead and make colonel Sanders proud.
