The Mazda CX-30 is no stranger here, but up until recently, we only had digital photos to look at. Well, not anymore. Bermaz Motors have rolled in a couple of CX-30’s in two of their Mazda showrooms in the Klang Valley. And when we say Klang Valley, we really mean Glenmarie and Petaling Jaya.

Seeing the CX-30 tells the full story and it is every bit as Mazda communicated when it comes to its size. Up close, you can also see how Mazda takes a different turn where design is concerned. Where the CX-5 looks beefy and the CX-3 appears sporty, the CX-30 goes off in a somewhat muted yet classy tangent.

The interior closely follows the Mazda3, and there’s no reason to think that the feel of the materials should be any less. If there’s something to pick on, it would be the new milk chocolate-coloured bits you’ll find on the dashboard, door cards and the centre console.

To read about the features and engine options, we've covered that before. Go ahead and click here to catch up.

The Mazda CX-30 is priced, on the road without insurance, at RM143,119.20 for the mid-spec, RM164,119.20 for the high-spec and RM173,027.70 for the high-spec diesel engine. We were told that the mid-spec is only available in limited numbers. So if the mid-spec CX-30 is what you want, then you should put your booking in now.

For the rest who are curious, you can go to the showrooms as mentioned above to have a look at what looks like another hit SUV from Mazda.
