Few things in the automotive world are as iconic as the original Mini Cooper. Now wrapped in a classy, sophisticated and luxurious aesthetic, the latest variants genuinely capture the essence of what made the original so special in a modern and progressive way. The introduction of the MINI 3 Door, MINI 5 Door and MINI Convertible, together with the MINI Electric, marks a milestone for the company as the most sophisticated compact premium automotive brand in Malaysia today.

As part of the brand's new design language, the new MINI 3 Door, MINI 5 Door and MINI Convertible arrive with a progressive look. You can clearly see this on the new front design, characteristic side scuttles, and a redesigned rear apron. The curvy, hexagonal grille dominates the front fascia, hiding a body-coloured safety bar. The redesigned bumper houses integrated air curtains for improved aerodynamics in place of the fog lamps. The LED headlights now come with a gloss black inner housing for a more contrasting, aggressive look.

The Piano Black Exterior is another distinguishing feature, with door handles, exhaust pipes, fuel lid and MINI badges and logos all finished in black. The wide rear bumper gives a sportier stance and new rear fog lights and LED taillights and indicators.

The New MINI 3 Door and MINI 5 Door come in White Silver, Island Blue, Chili Red, British Racing Green and Rooftop Grey, complete with Jet Black Roof and Black Bonnet Stripes. On the other hand, the MINI Convertible is available exclusively in Zesty Yellow, White Silver, Island Blue, Chili Red, and British Racing Green, complete with MINI Yours Softtop. Funky new alloy wheels complete the youthful, sporty exterior look.

On the inside, the shared design language continues, and this is no bad thing. The beautifully designed fascia displays sophisticated modernity. New models are equipped with a redesigned steering wheel with horizontal spokes and integrated buttons with a Piano Black finish. The interior geometric décor has been refreshed with a larger and more prominent design. At the same time, the air vents have also been redesigned to better integrate with the cockpit atmosphere.

The tech has also been modernised with a new digital instrument cluster, integrated with a 5.0-inch colour display for all relevant driving information, configurable with live widgets and two colour schemes: Lounge and Sport. The central information display is now more significant at 8.8-inches, with Navigation and Apple CarPlay as standard. To add to the flavour of the interior, the new MINI's come with six different ambient lights to choose from.

The New MINI models stay faithful to their legendary roots, with its signature go-kart handling being the epitome of agile driving. All new variants come with a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine, delivering up to 192hp and 280Nm of torque. Backed up with the 7-Speed Dual Clutch Sports Automatic Transmission, the MINI 3 Door and MINI 5 Door has a top speed of 235kph. In contrast, the MINI Convertible topping out at 230kph.

The century sprints are completed in just 6.7 seconds and 6.8 seconds for the MINI 3 Door and MINI 5 Door, respectively. The slightly porkier and less aerodynamic MINI Convertible completes the century sprint in a marginally slower but still respectable 7.1 seconds.

Despite their nippy performance, the MINI 3 Door and MINI 5 Door each consume just 6.0 litres of fuel every 100 kilometres and emit 136g of CO2 per kilometre. Meanwhile, the MINI Convertible'sConvertible's fuel consumption is 6.3l/100km and CO2 emission of 143g/km.

This driver's assist consists of the digital high-beam assistant, pedestrian warning with city braking function and approach control warning with city braking function. The Driving Assistant also comes with Parking Assistant and Lane Departure warning for speeds between 70-120kph.

The new MINIs are more connected than ever before. The new MINI App provides easy access to a wide range of Remote Services, on-the-go navigation, and e-Mobility features. In addition to the Digital Instrument Cluster, Teleservices, MINI Online, Intelligent Emergency Call, and trusty wireless charging are also standard across all variants.

Besides being an incredibly nippy car, the new MINI ownership is complemented with MINI Service Online, allowing customers to schedule a service appointment directly at their preferred MINI Authorised Dealership.

The new model line-up also comes with MINI Malaysia's 5-year Roadside Assistance programme. Among the services available include a 24-Hour, 365-days-a-year Accident and Help on the Phone and On the Spot Hotline, Free Towing Services and when needed (over 200KM from residential home), Replacement Vehicle, Seamless Mobility, Accommodation, Mobility Services Solutions as well as Repatriation services.
