The pandemic isn’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon in the country so we’ll continue to social distance for some time to come. What happens then if you need to purchase a new Mercedes-Benz but you’re apprehensive about stepping out into the wild?

Fret not as Cycle & Carriage (C&C) will bring the showroom to you… virtually. That’s right, much like everything else this year, the Mercedes-Benz showroom has gone virtual.

Dealer C&C has been on the ball as the first virtual showroom in the country comes hot on the heels of the new global corporate image it adopted last year. As consumer expectations; coupled with the challenges of the pandemic, evolve the way people shop for cars, the continuous innovations of C&C are designed address those needs.

The C&C Virtual Showroom serves as the entrée to main course that’s the physical retail experience by allowing customers to virtually explore both the showroom and vehicles in an immersive experience before deciding to step into the physical showroom for a test drive.

“The low-touch economy spurred by e-commerce marketplaces has propelled a need for us to re-engineer our strategy in the luxury car segment. While our physical retail experience will certainly be here to stay, complementing it with an immersive online experience and seamlessly incorporating both channels would make the purchasing journey better for our customers,” said CEO of Cycle & Carriage Bintang, Wilfrid Foo.

“Our customers' car-buying journeys can begin not just at our showroom, but at their fingertips. We hope that with a seamless offering, we can deliver on our promise of delivering Exceptional Journeys to our customers in ways that meet those needs.”

As of now, the virtual showroom will be able to showcase nine Mercedes-Benz models spanning the A-Class hatchback to the luxurious S-Class limousine and even the GLC.

Customers will be able to experience an external and internal 360-degree view of the vehicles and customise them using the online configurator. Detailed information about each vehicle’s specifications is just a click away.

Once customers are done with previewing each vehicle, the next step is to make an appointment for a test-drive at their preferred C&C Autohaus.
