Trevo has also expanded its services by adding another avenue for this via its app. Trevo Guard is a vehicle insurance renewal service that is open to anyone via the app. Although Trevo is a P2P car-sharing platform, Trevo Guard isn’t restricted to those that offer their vehicles on its platform. As long as you download the Trevo app, you can renew your insurance.
However, Trevo Guard does also offer policies curated to meet the prerequisites for owners putting up their vehicles on its platform for P2P sharing or e-hailing. For now, you’ll only be able to access insurance policies from Allianz via the app.
As an introductory offer, the first 1,000 Trevo Guard renewals will enjoy some additional perks. The first is a Free Temporary Replacement Car of the same model or similar car segment, for up to 7 days per year, if the insured car is unable to be driven. Furthermore, they’ll also have access to complimentary use of a personal “buddy driver” to drive them in their own car for up to two trips for a duration of two-hours each a year.
