One of Honda Malaysia’s best-selling car is up for a mid-life upgrade soon. And yes, you can order one now if you want to be among the first to drive the new Honda Civic.

Being a facelift, the new Civic’s exterior gets a splash of refreshing changes. The new things this upcoming sedan will have are the black-painted grille, front bumper, new ornaments on the rear bumper, revised rear wing and new 18-inch alloy wheels.

Honda will also upgrade the new Civic safety systems to include Honda Sensing. The sedan will get the same toys the CR-V and the Accord have; everything that’s available in the catalogue. So, expect the new Civic to have Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow, Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Keep Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning and Auto High-Beam. Phew.

What else? The new Civic will also be getting the Honda LaneWatch camera fitted on the left side of the car. This camera, with a wider view angle, displays objects in the blind spot, negating the need for a quick look over the left shoulder.

Honda Malaysia has open the order books for the new Civic. If you want to be among the first to take home the new Civic, you know what to do.
