We’ve watched hundreds of trailers, umpteenth hours of movies, and shared countless of tears and laughter throughout the year thanks to all the wonderful movies that coloured the film industry this year. People say time flies when you’re having fun, true enough, we’ve almost arrived at the end of 2017.

So here is Rojak Daily’s final must-watch movie list this year for the month of December.

#1 Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!


Aspiring Pokémon trainers, PokéMasters, and Pokémon fans, this is definitely one movie you cannot miss. This animated movie tells the tale of Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, who go on an epic quest to battle the strongest and rarest Pokémon as well as a chance to meet legendary Pokémons. Psst, we heard that Pikachu actually speaks (in a non-Pikachu way, but more like humans) in this movie!

#2 Wonder


This movie will not only literally make you wonder, but it will also tug at your heartstrings. The film is based on the New York Times bestseller, Wonder, a heartwarming story revolving around a young boy, August Pullman, who was born with facial differences that have prevented him from going to a mainstream school. It all changed when Pullman entered fifth grade and was enrolled into his local school.

#3 Star Wars: The Last Jedi


We heard that this will be Star Wars’ longest movie to date, so you’ll definitely enjoy 152 minutes of nothing short of galactic space adventures and lightsabers in this next chapter of the Star Wars saga.

#4 Jumanji


This is the movie remake based on the original 1995 movie we’ve all been waiting for, featuring a star-studded cast! Four high-school students accidentally discover an old video game console called Jumanji and as you guessed it, the game came to life after they were ‘suck’ into the classic console. So, will they be able to beat the game and return to the real world? Or are they doomed and will be stuck in the game forever?

#5 Pitch Perfect 3
