It has been three months since ‘Avengers: Endgame’ premiered (and the loss of our beloved Avenger, Iron Man).

A lot of events that happened in the final installment of the 'Avengers' movie either broke our hearts or made us cheer in excitement.

One of the events that took place was when Thor beheaded Thanos in an act of vengeance. But what if, instead of Thanos, it was one of the Avengers whose head was on the line?

The Russo Brothers recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that they had initially wrote the script whereby “Thanos would have massacred all the Avengers, only to then come to the present and throw the severed head of Captain America (Chris Evans) at the feet of our heroes.”

Even Cap'n isn't too keen on the idea.
The scene was supposed to happen when Thanos came to Earth to fight off the Avengers in 2014, and dropping the head off in 2023 once he enters the portal.

“We clung to that story line for so long just for that moment of Thanos walking through a portal and dropping Captain America’s severed head,” Anthony said.

When asked if this scene would be “too dark” if it actually materialised, the brothers said no and added that Thanos is a “tough dude”.

Well, he is a tough dude but with a soft heart.
Thankfully none of that took place because we’ll be having nightmares just thinking about it, and we'd still have to deal with Tony Stark’s death.
