The group recently released their addictive bop ‘Pink Venom’ in their long awaited comeback that has broken numerous records including becoming the most-viewed debut music video of 2022 on YouTube with a whopping 90.4 million views in the first 24 hours of the video being released.

As the award was only introduced in 2019, only K-pop group BTS has won the trophy so far. This makes her the first solo K-pop act, first female, and first Thai to win the award. Her own group BLACKPINK have also previously been nominated for the award.
