Family of Bollywood superstars infected
Bollywood legendary mega icon and actor Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for COVID-19, The Star Online reported.
Along with him, his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and their daughter have also been infected with the virus.
"I have tested COVID positive ... shifted to hospital ... hospital informing authorities ... family and staff undergone tests, results awaited," the 77-year-old actor in a tweet.

His 44-year-old son, Abhishek Bachchan, also tweeted a while later that he had been infected:
Aishwarya and Aaradhya have also tested COVID-19 positive. They will be self quarantining at home. The BMC has been updated of their situation and are doing the needful.The rest of the family including my Mother have tested negative. Thank you all for your wishes and prayers ??

"Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested.
"I request all to stay calm and not panic,” he said in the tweet.
Meanwhile, Maharastra state health minister Rajesh Tope confirmed in a tweet that Aishwarya and her daughter had tested positive for the virus.
Both Amitabh and Abhishek have reportedly been admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai, while Reuters reported that it was not clear whether Aishwarya and her daugter had been admitted.
India has become the third-biggest country with confirmed infections, right behind the United States and Brazil.
The virus has, so far, infected over 820,000 people and killed over 22,000 in India.
